The crossfader has a curve switch but even when the crossfader is set to extreme left or right it is still slightly open. It was a waste of money for me and i immediately purchased a Vestax Pro II instead. I researched this mixer through various websites and it seemed to be split 50/50 positive/negative reviews. I'm surprised there wasn't 100% negative reviews across the board. I've tried a few different mixers with the same equipment setup and this one hums/buzzes ten times louder than any other mixer I've tried.
